    Mashallah sister,

So glad I found your site…I was beginning to believe I was the only latin sister out here. Both my husband and I are new reverts and have no islamic community nearby so it gets pretty lonely and isolated. We reverted a few months ago and Alhumdililah, I too am glad we did as well.

      In response to Latina:

I am puerto rican and have been muslim for 7 years now mashallah. Islam is for anyone and everyone. Islam is a great religion for women. Islam gave women rights over 1400 years ago that women were just fightin for less than 100 years ago. Whatever Islam you know of that makes you think that Islam is not good for women I think that you are greatly mistaken.

I take my hat off to you ladies, the temptations for any women in this country are so great. Any where one looks, women are being advertised and marketed as a sexual tool. Women have lost their femenisim and sexuality. They are looked at more and more as a sex toy.
Congratulation to all of you who decided to wear the hijab, may God bless you all.

This is very wired Latinas all of a sub ban turn to Muslim religion?? Well my girlfriend is Turkish she is muslim as well, but I always get issues with her parents because I’m catholic. Most of my friends always tell me to give up my relationship with her and to find another girl because she’s muslim and that they won’t except me. =( By the way I’m a Hispanic.
