I am so proud of you. All around you have women half dress and you remain modest when you race. May Allah reward you for your efforts in this life and the life of the here after.

I’m Israeli and when I saw her, I admit I was floored. Two thoughts crossed my mind: She has to be dedicated to insist on devotion to the dictates of modesty as well as to her sport; and she’s a role model for Muslim girls and young women, showing that if you want something badly enough, you’ll find a way.
It was also refreshing after seeing the beach volleyball players who I have a problem taking seriously playing out there in the glaring sun in their swimsuits. Good going, Al Ghasra.
